Hyderabad: Freyr Energy, a prominent provider of residential rooftop solar solutions headquartered in Hyderabad, is expanding its presence in Madhya Pradesh's residential rooftop segment. With over 250 households already equipped with solar solutions, totaling over 2MW in capacity, including a recent 75 KW installation at an HPCL site in Sagar, the company is rapidly extending its reach and expertise in the region. By harnessing technology, Freyr Energy aims to solarize an additional 3,000 homes by the end of 2024.
Recognizing financial barriers hindering solar adoption, Freyr Energy offers no-cost EMI loan schemes and facilitates quick loan evaluation. Moreover, the recent increase in solar subsidies by MNRE, up to Rs 18,000/kWp for rooftop solar in the residential sector, further incentivizes homeowners. This customer-centric approach is reflected in Freyr Energy's tech platform, SunPro+, which streamlines the entire solar installation process, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Saurabh Marda, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Freyr Energy, said, "Our goal is to make solar energy not just a choice but an easy and rewarding experience for everyone."
Aligned with the 'Madhya Pradesh Renewable Energy Policy' (MPREP-2022), Freyr Energy's initiatives complement the state's ambition to become a renewable energy hub by 2030. By contributing to the state's existing solar achievements, such as the world's largest floating solar power plant in Khandwa and the Ultra Mega Solar Park in Rewa, Freyr Energy is accelerating its impact in the market while enhancing Madhya Pradesh's renewable energy potential.
